Does this sound like you? The nTopology IT team is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to provide Tier III remote and onsite support for our rapidly growing start-up. We work in a fast-paced environment supporting Windows, Linux (RHEL + Ubuntu), and Mac OS. We encourage a culture of self-service for our end-users so that they feel empowered to resolve more basic issues while we manage higher-level requests.

This role reports to the IT Manager. Because this role requires some onsite support, we ask that you reside in the NYC metro region.

What You'll Do

Assist in the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all systems' hardware and software
Troubleshoot and fulfill networking requests (ie. VPN configuration changes, site-to-site VPN setup and testing, firewall management, VLAN management)
Maintenance and troubleshooting of high-power computing machines (threadripper processors, high-end NVIDIA GPUs, etc.)
Field helpdesk requests
Provide excellent customer service and work to eliminate any IT-related blockers that can hinder teams from completing their tasks
License acquisition, tracking, and management
User account management and access tracking
Facilitate employees' onboarding and offboarding
Handle logistics necessary to support remote users, external conferences, and events (including packing, shipping, and tracking domestic and international shipments)

Who You Are

3+ years of experience providing all levels of end-user technical support
Professional experience working in a Windows environment and troubleshooting / working in Linux
Familiarity with desktop hardware repairs
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to discover creative solutions for unique problems
Great communication skills and the propensity to work autonomously are a must

Salary Range

$105,000 - 115,000 / Annually
