As the Vice President of Information Technology, you will oversee the use of Information Technology (IT) at Grand Welcome. You will devise the company’s IT strategy and ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place. You will develop, plan, and implement an IT strategy that meets the company’s business needs, delivers optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals
Identifies new IS developments and technologies; anticipates resulting organizational modifications
Ensures that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs
Develops and implements the IT budget
Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department; plans ways to execute those goals within the department
Establishes long-term IT needs and plans and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs
Maintain overall responsibility and accountability for the people, processes, data security, and technology that make up IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity
Ensure that the technology infrastructure is reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure
Perform management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, management of financials, coaching and mentoring of staff, and quality review
Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology required
At least seven (7) years of experience in administration of information systems and technology, with increasing level of responsibility throughout
Five (5) years of experience building or leading a complex IT business function with a hypergrowth company
Experience working with outsourced IT teams
Experience leading ERP implementations and continual ERP management
Demonstrated experience in IT strategic planning, organization design, leadership, development, and operational management
Previous client service and revenue management experience is a strong plus
Expertise in major change management, including process re-engineering and complex legacy systems transformation
Expertise in budget planning and financial management of IT
Ability to drive organizational change within and beyond IT functions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills particularly in report writing and preparing presentations for executive leaders and in the ability to explain technology to business leaders and others not immersed within the technology world
Demonstrated ability to lead a team through changing work requirements and priorities, demanding deadlines, operational crisis situations, as well as being able to keep pace with multiple concurrent initiatives and develop and implement long term goals and operating plans
