Job Description

Provide mechanical and electrical maintenance services for the facility

Read and utilize repair documents, manuals, assembly drawings and electrical schematics to determine repair procedures and tolerances

Execute inspections and maintenance activities for production related equipment

Input and update information in computerized maintenance management software

Sustain a clean working environment while following company safety guidelines

Communicate effectively with coworkers, team, vendors and contractors

Skills & Qualifications

Certification of Pipe Fitting OR Journeyman is required

Minimum of 3- 5 years industrial maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Knowledge of AC/DC and PLCs is an asset

Prior experience with milling machine, lathe, welder and other shop equipment

Ability to set up, tear down, and rebuild machinery and equipment according to blueprints and electrical schematics

Capable operator of mobile and bridge cranes

Use of all sizes of air impact and electric wrenches, all pipe fitting tools and equipment

Excellent written, oral communication and organizational skills

Good problem solving and analytical skills and ability to prioritize workload

Experience with OSHA safety practices

SAP experience is an asset

24/7 facility will need to have availability to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays
