Collaborates with users, vendors, technicians, and managers to understand and assess computing and system needs and requirements.
Develop, implement and monitor the technical, organizational, and operational aspects of our security program for both production and corporate environments.
Lead and further develop the Information Security organization in support of the team’s mission and our defined information security programs.
Support compliance and audit programs and requirements.
Develops, implements, and communicates IT goals, policies, and procedures to the company
Evaluates current technology use and needs of the company and recommends software and hardware improvements.
Maintain the company’s cybersecurity incident response program on an ongoing basis, including leading response to active incidents and conducting regular exercises.
Oversees backup, security, and user help systems.
Assist with the overall security and business technology planning and budgeting, providing a future vision of security technology and systems.
Manage and further develop metrics for evaluating the effectiveness and success of the IT/IS program to ensure it meets the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Prepares and delivers operational or project progress reports.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, accustomed to collaborating across different teams.
High level of personal integrity.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Solid understanding of technical challenges in modern IT Programs:
- Compliance/Security Risk Management (e.g., ISO, SOCs or similar)
- Public Key Infrastructure fundamentals
- Knowledge of DNS and how to manage
- SAAS Authentication approaches and when to use
- Edge Security and Networking, including SD-WAN basics
- Desktop support experience – knows how to triage issues to send to the correct support channel
- Significant experience in Directory Management such as Azure AD/Office365 or Windows Domains[DS1]
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work.
Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and vendor management including managed services.
Ability to explain technical problems and offer solutions to those without technological training.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Administration, Cybersecurity, or related field required.
5+ years of experience required.
