Senior IT Architect/Strategist

Client serves libraries across the world with innovative digital streaming services from their proprietary platform. With incredible growth over the last few years, the IT environment has expanded rapidly. In addition to the customer-facing digital streaming product available on all major platforms, they also maintain internal systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and other line-of-business applications.

In order to continue growing, they realize they need to evaluate their current infrastructure, application architecture, and security practicies to consolidate IT assets and architectural patterns that will allow them to be more agile going forward.

Our client is looking for a Senior IT Architect, Strategist and thought leader to conduct a thorough evaluation of the current state and make recommendations and develop a roadmap/strategic implentation plan for the "to-be " state. The ideal candidate is open to a right-to-hire scenario where the client will hire the candidate as a full-time employee after the assessment and discovery phase are completed (~4-6 months).

Candidate must have significant experience in IT leadership positions

Candidate must be well-versed in enterprise IT best practices related to Infrastructure (Cloud, on-prem, hybrid) and Architectural Patters for software development.

Candidate must have experience using and implementing Kubernetes

Candidate must have experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

Candidate must have experience auditing and evaluating entperise IT environments and making best practice recommendations and plans for overhauling environments

Candidate must be comfortable working in an Agile development/delivery environment

Candidate must be experienced with creating IT Architectural Diagrams and presenting findings and recommendations to C-Suite audience.

Candidate must have strong documentation and writing skills to create gap analysis and recommendations document.
